DESCRIPTION:Back in 2018 we began to gather annually as Irish Vineyard Churches to be together as family\, to worship\, pray and be in the Spirit’s presence and dream about the future.  It quickly became a weekend not to be missed\, full of encounters with God\, inspiration\, and training for leaders from Vineyard Churches on this island. Each time we have come together to celebrate the incredible legacy we have as Vineyard Churches on the island of Ireland\, God has met with us powerfully. \nWe are thrilled to announce that Jordan Seng (Pastor of Bluewater Mission church in Hawaii) will be joining us this October. So please do mark your calendars for 13-14 October\, and spread the word to your leaders. It will be held in Belfast City Vineyard\, 92-114 Cavehill Road\, Belfast\, BT15 5BT. We will start on Friday evening at 7.30pm and run all day Saturday 14 October 2023. \nWe are praying it’s a time of great joy\, momentum\, and power as we worship\, pray for one another and open the Scriptures together. \n

DESCRIPTION:The Marriage Course at BCV \nThe Marriage Course is for any married couple who want to strengthen their relationship. Over eight sessions\, the course offers essential tools and practical ideas to help you build a relationship that lasts a lifetime. \nWhat can you expect? \n\nAn evening together\, with drinks and nibbles and candlelight. You’ll have a chance to unwind and connect as you consider the Marriage Course material.\nWatch an episode: Over the course of the evening\, you’ll watch and discuss a video episode\, exploring a different topic through real experiences\, expert insights\, and relevant teaching.\nTopics include things like ‘communicating well’\, ‘the impact of family\,’ and ‘learning better ways to resolve conflict.’ Week 8 will provide a biblical perspective on marriage and include a Q&A with the Marriage Course Team.\nTalk privately at your own table (no group-work!): You’ll have space for private\, honest\, and open conversations throughout each session.\n\nWhen: We will meet on Monday evenings\, 7.30-9.30\, September 25th\, running for eight Mondays until 20th November (no session on Monday 30th October: half-term). \nWhere: Cavehill building \nCost: £30 per couple

DESCRIPTION:Do you find it hard to find time to read the bible\, pray and hear God speak to you? Do you want to know Jesus more intimately? Do you want to know what God has called you to? Then this course is for you. No matter if you are new to faith\, or finding that some rhythms have been lost in the pandemic\, or have been following Jesus for a long time but want to go further\, this course has something to offer. \nWe believe Jesus invites all of us to follow him\, know him and find life in its fullest as we encounter him. For many of us\, daily encountering His presence and growing in our life with Him is a real and deep desire\, but we are stuck. Very few of us have ever been shown clear models for exactly how we might daily follow Jesus\, and build a life lived in the presence of God. Many of us are finding that life has left us exhausted\, with little momentum left in our day to day lives. This course is designed to help with all of that. It gives clear step by step guide to following Jesus and building a life of encounter with God one day at a time. Each week there will be a teaching and practical element of ‘doing the stuff.’ Let learning and practicing regular rhythms of following Jesus help you grow in him\, and bring life and energy to you rather than exhaustion. \nWe hope to do the course in person but also provide an online option for people. \nThis course is being run by Andy Smith & Sarah Crawford.

DESCRIPTION:We long to see God’s Kingdom come  in our church\, our families\, our neighbourhood\, and our work places.  To see freedom and healing breakout\, to see order brought to chaos.  It is so exciting that Jesus wants all of us to partner with him to do it.  We want everyone to find their praying voice\, to feel empowered and equipped to step out in faith and impact the world around them. \nJoin us for a day of teaching\, worship\, question panels and seminars on all things prayer.  Everyone gets to play! \nSeminars\nDuring the day we have two seminar slots. Most seminars will run twice (identical in both sessions) so you have the opportunity to select two options from the list below. \nPrayer Ministry  (Gunther Storbeck) – This session is all about learning to pray for others in person\, inviting God to heal them physically\, emotionally or spiritually. Whether you’ve seen prayer ministry on Sundays and are curious about joining the team\, are already part of the team and would like a refresher\, or fancy praying for people outside church… you are very welcome! The session will be very practical\, with teaching on why we pray as well as training on how to do so and an opportunity to give it a go in a safe environment. \nLeading ministry in your living room (Alan Carson) – Life groups are one of our key places where people receive ministry and practice stepping out in prayer.  This session will look at how we create a safe and fun environment in our homes where we expect to see the kingdom come in power.  Alan will give lots of wisdom and practical tips on how to lead a ministry time. \nWalking in the prophetic (Andy Smith) – How do we have a conversation with God?  Hearing his voice and following his direction can often feel challenging and we can struggle with doubt.  Join Andy in this seminar as he explores practical ways to listen to God which will encourage us to lean into the prophetic and pray with more confidence and power. \nDeliverance ministry (Claire McFeeters) – Jesus set many people free from demons and has called us to do the same.  Come and hear some of Claire’s story on how she got delivered from strongholds and learnt to walk and pray in her new identity. Expect to be challenged and encouraged to step out in your authority and learn how to pray to bring freedom in your own life and those around you. \nFollowing the Spirit in Worship (Harmony Smith) – What does it actually look like host the presence of God in worship\, and to run with what the Spirit is doing in the room?  We’ll be looking at how we do that – both in terms of our preparation personally as worshippers\, but also as leaders who lead a band and a congregation.  This will be an interactive seminar\, so come with your questions and get ready to participate! (session 1 only) \nDream interpretation (Richard Hill) – God speaks through dreams. This is not only reserved for special people or for rare occasions; God is speaking to you through your dreams. In this seminar we will explore the wonderful language of dreams and learn to how interpret and understand what God is communicating. session 2 only) \nActivating prayer and prophecy with children (Katie Wilson) – How might we help facilitate our children to encounter God powerfully in prophetic prayer?  This seminar looks at how we can incorporate prayer in an interactive way in the kids rooms.  It will include practical ideas for prophetic activations that we can try out ourselves on the day and then bring to our children at home and at church.

Alpha is designed specifically for the non-Christian\, the skeptic\, or those who are exploring their Christian faith. \nAlpha is an 8-week course that creates a space\, where people are excited to bring their friends for a conversation about faith\, life and God. It is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe\, and everyone is welcome. \nWhat does an Alpha Session look like?\nTalk\nThe Alpha talks are designed to engage people from all walks of life and inspire conversation. They explore the big issues of life and faith and unpack the basics of Christian belief\, addressing questions like “Who is Jesus?”\, “Why and how do I pray?” and “How does God guide us?” \nDiscussion\nThe discussion time is an opportunity for people to respond to the talk\, hear from others\, and contribute their own perspective in an honest\, friendly\, and open environment. \nHow do I get started? \nAll you need to do is sign up online. We will gather in person and have some light refreshments and then watch a short video together. We will then discuss any questions that come up together. \nWe would love to see you there!

And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us” \nWe want to create a space where children feel welcome\, build friendships\, experience deep joy\, and are empowered to run their race with Jesus. Each day will have a range of games and activities\, some worship\, teaching and team challenges.
