Mary, only being a teenager when she became pregnant with Jesus, showed immense courage when facing the cultural norms and potential punishment off being found pregnant while betrothed. And yet, she recognised that she was favoured. The favour of the Lord requires us to take courage, have faith and acknowledge that it can be costly.
