Leadership at BCV
This week we take a break from our normal series to look at leadership within our community. Join us as we hear a little about the leadership story of BCV, how we’re structured as a church and celebrate some leaders who are “stepping up” in this next season.
Baby Dedication Sunday
Today we’ve had the privilege of dedicating 17 children in our community. Join us as Katie Wilson, our children pastor, shares some thought on the power of a name.
This Father’s Day, Andy Smith shares some thoughts on what it is to be a father or mother.
Living as Sent Ones
This week Andy talks to us about being a ‘sending’ community. From our heritage as a movement, to the people we have sent out across the world as Belfast City Vineyard and what it means to live as a “sent one” in our communities today.
Baby Dedication Sunday
In BCV we place a high importance on ministering to our children from as soon as they are born. Today we have the privilege of gathering as a church around four families who have come to dedicate their precious little ones.
We have a community responsibility to make sure that this generation of children in our church grows up knowing God. Because of their relationship with their Heavenly Father, the truth is that our children are powerful people, each with a unique purpose that is with them from birth. They need to grow up understanding that when they stand with their Father God, they are royalty. As children of the King, they get to influence change wherever they are and see the kingdom come.
We adults have a vital role in helping position our children to understand who they are and what their purpose is. Today we want to consider what God placed in these little ones and how can we as a community call out His plans and nurture them.

Humility at Christmas
Happy Christmas! This morning we will be exploring what Christmas and the life of Jesus teaches us about humility. Humility is all over the Christmas story, and is key to encountering and knowing, loving, and serving God for a lifetime. The Christmas story shows us that Jesus comes humbly, and if we are honest, it is easy to miss him or even dismiss him. Today, even as we celebrate Christmas and all its joys, let us receive his invitation to come to him this Christmas, and receive his peace and mercy, salvation and hope.
