BCV Youth Worship POD
1st August 2019, 9:30 am – 2nd August 2019, 4:30 pmThis summer we are so excited to be running a youth worship POD (Place Of Discipleship) in BCV!
Our heart is to help those who are wondering if being involved in the leading of worship is something that God is calling them to. We want to help equip both practically and spiritually for what that looks like.
The POD will run for two days, Thursday the 1st and Friday the 2nd of August and will run from 9:30am to 5pm each day. On the Thursday evening there will also be a more social event from 7pm-9pm.
Our aim is to practically equip the students with the tools to help them develop as a worship leader, musician, vocalist etc. In addition to the practical aspects, we will touch on some of the more spiritual aspects and our own values as a movement in relation to worship.
Additional Info:
You don’t have to be currently active in leading worship in any BCV environments to sign up but we would ask that you are at least exploring an interest in leading or being involved in worship.
Although there will be some instrument tutorials during our time together it will not be an environment for ‘learning a new instrument’ but it may perhaps spark some interest in them.
