Alpha Course

Next Course starting 15th April 2021

Life is confusing. As you embark on your journey with Jesus, you will no doubt have a lot of questions. To help with some of these questions we run an Alpha course, where you can explore the basics of the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. This is an 8 week course, looking at who is Jesus? Why did Jesus die? And so many more questions. To find out more information and to sign up just click on the image below.

Reading the Bible

The Bible is a big book and it’s difficult to know where to start. If you need a Bible, you can download a Bible to your mobile phone. One that we would recommend is the YouVersion Bible App, which you can download by clicking here. Alternatively, if you would prefer a hard copy of a Bible we can send you one. All you need to do it fill in a connect card and let us know.

There are a number of different translations of the Bible. To make it easier for you we would recommend using the New International Version (NIV) to begin with.

We at BCV have produced some resources to help you read the Bible, such as how to read the Bible and How to spend time with Jesus. You can access those by clicking here.

Who Is Jesus Course

Next course starting Sept 2021

This course is a great follow on from the Alpha course. We’d love you to join us for a 7-week exploration of the gospel of Mark, one of the books in the New Testament.  We welcome your questions, value your input and don’t promise to have all the answers!  If you have never read the Bible, or never done so in a group, this group is for you! For more information please click on the image below.

Community

We love to be family and the Bible encourages us to live in fellowship with other believers. Unfortunately at the moment, due to current government guidelines we cannot gather physically together however we do have a number of environments where we can gather together digitally.

Online Church

Every Sunday morning from 10am we air our kid’s service, for primary school aged children. Then at 10.30am we air our regular service for everyone. These can be accessed via our weekly service page, which can be accessed here.

We also hold a service on a Friday Afternoon from 12noon on Facebook. Just log into Facebook and search for, ‘BCV Friday Church,’ to gain access to this service.

Life Groups

We want everyone who comes into contact with us to have a good opportunity to find some key friendships while they find places to develop their relationship with Jesus. Life groups are places where we simply do life together. Each group is a bit different in scope but are led by some of our best leaders, and are tied together with some key values, giving you a chance to choose a great group that suits your interests and schedule. Each group exists to provide you with a fun place to gather online and develop meaningful relationships with Jesus and others at your own pace.
We usually run Life groups in two terms, with sign ups in September and February. For more information please click here.

Prayer

Quite simply, prayer is talking to God. In the Vineyard, we love to pray. The Bible tells us to, ‘pray without ceasing,’ (1 Thessalonians 5:17) and we would love to pray for you. If you’re just starting out your journey with Jesus and you don’t know how to pray, just fill in a connect card and one of our pastors would love to help you with this. If you would like us to pray for you, you can sign up to a 10-minute Zoom prayer slot every Sunday from 12noon – 1pm. You can sign up by clicking here.

Everyone is welcome!

What can you expect?
